在大城市过关五光十色生活的嘟嘟和哈哈，放暑假的时候被父母托付给住在城市边缘审核或的奶奶家。虽然奶奶很喜欢他们，但面对陌生、无聊的环境，他们产生了回家的念头。无意中闯入封存已久的地下室，遇见了猫公主小月，慌乱中嘟嘟、哈哈帮助小月顺利解决了困难，小月请他们吃冰淇淋感谢他们。第二天，嘟嘟和哈哈好不容易等到天亮，又偷偷走到地下室，看见梦想中的小月，他们欢喜雀跃地知道了昨天的一切都是真的。所有的故事也将由此展开……
一所位于东京都千代田区的传统高校“音乃木坂学院”，因为入读的学生人数骤减，所以正面临着废校的危机。其中有三名少女想到一条妙计——成为偶像，只要她们成为偶像，学校的名气便会增加，而入读学生的人数亦会上升。就这样，九位个性鲜明的少女决定一起努力成为偶像，希望可以凭借偶像的名气增加生源来挽救自己所喜爱的校园。
